The browser stores a random value named fh6-meta-visitor-id in localStorage so repeat visits can be counted without requiring an account.
Page path, referrer, language, timezone, event markers, and browser/device signals may be used for aggregate traffic and abuse-monitoring views.
FH6 Meta does not sell visitor data, run an ad network, collect payment data, or require public visitor accounts.
Local Visitor ID
What is stored in your browser
When JavaScript is available, FH6 Meta creates a random browser visitor ID and stores it in localStorage under fh6-meta-visitor-id. It is used to distinguish repeat visits from new visits for site-health statistics. It is not an account, login, payment identifier, or public profile.
You can clear this ID by clearing site data for fh6meta.com in your browser. A new random ID may be created on a later visit.
Traffic Stats
What the site records
The public app can send visit events to /api/visit with the current path, referrer, browser languages, timezone, and lightweight engagement events such as scroll or time-on-page markers. The server also receives normal request information such as user-agent, host, country/proxy headers, and network address signals.
FH6 Meta stores visitor keys as salted hashes for traffic stats rather than raw visitor IDs. The traffic runtime is designed not to store raw IP addresses in data/runtime/traffic-ip.json; referrer query details are encrypted before being written there.
Purpose
Why these stats exist
Traffic stats are used to check whether public pages are reachable, spot broken or confusing navigation, understand which source surfaces are useful, separate obvious bot-like activity from ordinary visits, and keep the site operational.
Sharing
Third-party links and services
FH6 Meta links to third-party sources such as QQ Docs, community posts, creator pages, and source registries. Opening those links sends you to those external services, which may follow their own privacy practices. FH6 Meta does not control those services.
The FH6 Meta source/privacy request form is hosted on Google Forms. Information submitted through that form is sent to Google Forms and to FH6 Meta for review. Do not submit passwords, government IDs, payment details, or private files through the form.
FH6 Meta does not sell visitor data, does not use visitor traffic for targeted advertising, and does not collect payment information.
Choices
What you can do
You can clear localStorage for fh6meta.com, block JavaScript, block requests to /api/visit, or use browser privacy tools. Some site-health counting or saved display preferences may stop working if you block these features.
Privacy or source questions can be sent through the FH6 Meta source/privacy request form, following the legal source-request process. Because traffic data is aggregated and hashed, FH6 Meta may not be able to locate or delete a specific historic visit after the fact.
Limits
Operational records
Hosting providers, network services, security tooling, and server logs may process ordinary request information to deliver the site and protect it. FH6 Meta may keep aggregate, hashed, encrypted, security, and operational records where needed for site reliability and abuse prevention.
